Colter gave us quite a scare the last couple of days. She started getting a little cold earlier this week and the mucus started to build up in her nose and she couldn't really clear it herself so she would start choking and turn kind of blue. We went to the doctor Thursday morning and they said just run a humidifier and keeep her head elevated and that's about all you can do, but if she starts to run a fever they would have to admit her. Well that evening she started running a temp so they put her in the I.C.U. right away. The poor thing had an IV coming out of her head, little sticky heart monitors all over her chest, they took blood and she got a spinal tap so they could check her spinal fluid. Man, talk about sad!!!! Anyway, we were in the ICU for 2 days, we came home today (Saturday afternoon) Hooray! They monitored her blood and spinal fluid to see if she had a bacterial infection which would be bad but they all came back negative, thank goodness.. We came home and got cozy and gave her a nice warm bath and now she is resting next to her daddy. Thanks for all the phone calls and prayers! We really appreciate it!!! And thank you Nana and Papa for coming to give us support, it really meant the world to us! Hope everyone has a good weekend, i know we will!!!
